Cambridge Latin Course E-Learning Resources
Outstanding digital resources to support Book I and Book II of the Cambridge Latin Course are now available on DVD. The materials are the outcome of a £5,000,000 seven-year research project, funded by the British government, to raise standards in Latin learning and increase access to the subject.
Each E-Learning Resource contains about 1,000 activities including:
documentaries enhancing the textbook's material on the cultural themes of each Stage |
dramatisations of stories, with and without subtitles |
introductions to the stories and Stages, presented by characters from the Course |
audio for the model sentences and for each story, segmented to allow students to listen to all or part of a story and practise their pronunciation as required |
explanations of the language, presented by an on-screen teacher using examples from the Course |
100s of interactive activities to aid, consolidate and assess understanding |
200 printable materials, such as Activity Sheets and notes for teachers and independent learners, to allow study to take place when access to a computer isn't possible |
web-links to carefully selected sites relevant to each Stage of the Course. |
For full details of the E-Learning Resource for each Book, please visit the Book I or Book II page.
